Let us now see the emotional body. There is no particulate matter here. There is only a 'continuity of flow' in the emotional energy field. One cannot quite perceive it; it is that fine, and though one cannot could not really see the mental energy either, one could perceive the particulate matter. Here I cannot perceive the energy. The emotional body is, in a normal personality-centered human being, up to ten inches wide. In a soul-centered being, it moves from about twelve inches to twenty two inches.

Now assume that the spur creates an emotional upheaval. Both the emotional energy as well as the mental energy fields will be affected. If there is a negative statement of rejection or anger there will be the same lighting taking place; the same coils. But, there is difference, there's something else happening: the coils are beginning to move sideways as well. They are reaching out to the next particle, but there is this sideways movement, much as if there is a jangling. This energy field is not as calm a field as the original spur of the mental body. One can feel the energy field now, that this feeling is arising because the jangling has reached into the emotional energy field. It has also started shifting exactly in this manner, proportionately to the jangling of all these springs.

The matter in the emotional body, may be experienced as waves of energy.
It's not only moving up and down, but it's moving up and down and forward
and it's all happening simultaneously. There may be a color around these waves.

Having described the emotional energy field, let us experience the spur of rejection or hatred. The waves in the emotional body have changed; there is no continuity and the waves that crests and falls and completes itself there. They do not go forward. There are several independent waves of this nature, seemingly fragmented where as earlier there was complete unity. Earlier though there were distinct waves, the experience was of one wave.

Now the experience is, very clearly, of several waves that are cresting, falling and completing, and not moving ahead into forward action or forward flow. When the wave crests and falls, this sudden thud of energy causes a resonance, which is picked up due to the vibratory energy strands that are running through all of us and are interconnected everywhere. It causes the resonance in the heart, When the coils of the spring jangled, one can feel it in the heart.
