What has mystical experience to do with the environment of the earth?

Human beings that have the greatest influence on the thinking and behavior of mankind, has been, that of the prophets, saviors and mystics, including the founders of all current faiths. Kings, philosophers, scientists or scholars have, all, played a secondary role.

Constant tensions and pressures in the world situation, a general sense of discontent and lack of peace, a foreboding of approaching disaster, global warming, drought, massive storms, the use of drugs, the revolt of youth, tragedies of marital life. The list of eathly trails and tribulations are endless. There is a pressing urge in countless minds to rise above Reality by striving for Higher Consciousness.

The Awakening of Higher Consciousness has held a fascination that is unmatched in any other sphere of life. This has persisted for thousands of years. Now with the coming Changes we are all participating in the Awakening.

Why Beliefs ? What makes millions upon millions of human beings Believe?

Flooded by the marvels of technology, why do the masses still have greater faith in the ideals of their religion and the teachings of prophets or saints than in the rational explanations of scientists and philosopher alike? Why do even distinguished scientists subscribe to faith?

What then, is this paradox?

The Vedas were committed to memory and transmitted orally, generation after generation, because there was a subconscious awareness that what they contained was of the utmost importance for mankind. By the same intuitive impulse theologians and scribes, preserve them from distortion for every word and line of the gospels of all faiths.

Respect of the esoteric doctrines of faith and the hidden truths about the Universal Energies and Soul were talked of with bated breath. It has always been felt instinctively that religion is a sacred subject beyond the province of the intellect.

This is not so now.

The human brain is still in a state of biological evolution. Scientist search for that part of the brain that has the spiritual ecstasy, near death experience and memories of previous births. Evolution has become so fast that a rethinking and a readjustment of the current values as also the whole social and political fabric of mankind has become necessary. Man is aware that he is part of the global and universal scheme.

Yet, Mystical vision, the vision of God, Higher
consciousness still is the target of human evolution.
